Touch Trees Arbor Quest 2024 (Scotland)
Hello, this is Donald with D’s R Trees, Inc.. We visited Scotland in July and came across this English oak tree. That’s 900 to 1000 years old. The name of the tree is called Capon tree. I came across this tree in Jedburgh as I was visiting my ancestry castle called Fatlips. This tree has been noted as one of the trees were the Turnbull clan and many other clans came under the tree to settle disputes and land territory disagreements. My family was in the Harwick area between, Jedburgh and Hardwick. Thought I would share how beautiful this tree is. It’s the only one standing tree in Scotland that is 900 to 1000 years ago.
